Stephen Harper emerged from Rideau Hall this morning, confirming he had asked Gov. Gen. David Johnston to dissolve Parliament for a general election to be held Monday, Oct. 19.

According to Stephen Harper; “The frank reality is this parliament is at its useful end, and Canadians have to give somebody a mandate,” Harper later told reporters. “The Opposition doesn't want to support us and this, my government, does not want to change direction.

Thus, Harper has begun a mid-summer marathon-- that will be longest, And Most Expensive (For The Taxpayer) Federal Election Campaign In Recent Canadian History.

A Long Campaign Will Benefit The Cash-Rich, Largely Foreign Funded Tories.

The Longer Federal Election Campaign Will Cost Taxpayers Millions More.

But, Of Course, According To Harper, The Election Campaign Is To Be Funded—Entirely—By The Political Parties.

 In Actual – Honest, Truthful-- Fact, As Always, funding for this election will come through “foreign, investment” contributions—from foreign countries—seeking POWER AND CONTROL (Ownership) of and over Canadian resources and/or international policy and by CANADIAN TAXPAYERS whom are also forces to hear all the political rhetoric and other BULLSHIT.

Harper CLAIMS, Canada is doing better than MOST G7 countries. All of you reading this post, have computers; check Canada’s economic record. Compare our economic statistics with the economic statistics of ALL other countries –in the world.
