Another day, Another Ridiculous Announcement by the Canadian Taxpayers Federation, Lambasting Only TransLink.

This Taxpayers Organization ???gave Metro Vancouver’s transit authority a lifetime achievement award Wednesday, for what it says are nearly 100 separate examples of waste within the organization.

“We have 90 stories to post, and the list keep growing,” says Canadian Taxpayers Federation director Jordan Bateman.

“TransLink is really in a league of its own because with politicians you can vote them out after a period of time, but with TransLink they just to be here forever and no matter who seems to be on the board of directors or who is running the show or what influence the politicians have they(Translink) just keep wasting more of OUR money.”

Canadian Taxpayers Federation Gives TransLink Lifetime Achievement Award for Waste—with no mention  whatever of awarding the governments and/or politicians who SUPPOSEDLY ARE IN CONTROL and are SUPPOSEDLY administrating to OUR AFFAIRS .

But, then, Translink is a Taxpayer Owned/Crown Corporation, over which British Columbia Governments have obviously, very mistakenly, been given that RESPONSIBILITY of ADMINISTRATION. It is not Translink but Elected Politicians, Government Officials, munucipal mayors that not only literally refusing to do any part of the job for which they were elected but are asking for a 5% sales tax increase--on top of the hidden taxes, and the tolls they have already inposed. It is high time we; the Canadian Citizen/Taxpayers wake up to what is really taking place in OUR world

So.
