WE ALLOW THEM TO MAKE WAR, AT PLEASURE

Allow the president to invade a neighbouring

nation, whenever he shall deem it necessary

to repel an invasion, and you allow him to do

so whenever he may choose to say he deems

it necessary for such a purpose—and you

allow him to make war at pleasure.~Abraham

Lincoln

Go West young man for that is where

prosperity lies. But, remember also, the sun

rises in the East and sets in the West. I would

much rather be facing East for another sunrise

than West to have it set.
