As of Today, Tax/Toll Increase, On Port Mann Bridge.

Oh. People of British Columbia, Canada, Fraser Valley, the Lower Mainland; the Bugles, the Bugles are calling, From Glen to Glen and down the Mountain  side. They are Calling Reveille.   IT’S TIME TO WAKE UP!
Toll rates per trip as of August 15:
The People of BRITISH COLUMBIA Just Turned an Increase in Taxes (Sales/Translink); Thought They had Squashed the Governments???Predatory Notions, Like a Cockroach. So, why, or why, did rates ILLEGALLY change?
Well it seems the government (TYPICAL CAREER POLITICIANS-none of whom could ever claim to be functional literate,  legally aware, or rationally responsible), TReO's, Like any Taxpayer Owned And Funded utility or service provider toll rates need to increase from time to time to keep up with the cost of PAYING CEOS, paying for unsustainable, hairbrained schemes, building, operating and maintaining the bridge and Highway 1 improvements.
Where does the toll revenue go? Mostly to paying executive and OTHER privileged salaries and to fund the many, HAIR BRAINED, extremely expensive, never to work, IMPROVEMENTS Translink, in conjunction with the council of mayors have dug up from some land fill.
TReO's parent company, TI Corp, is the PUBLICALLY OWNED Crown corporation responsible for building, operating and maintaining the Port Mann / Highway 1 Project. TI Corp's mandate is to repay the project debt using the toll/tax revenue collected. The toll/tax only, EXISTS to pay for the bridge and highway improvement project.

Why and How, did the council of mayors, the government??? Translink decide to increase rates by 15 cents?
According to them all; rates have been minimized since the start of tolling. The only other time rates have changed was when the half-price introductory rate expired in December 2013. As a PUBLIC agency, TI Corp claims they are not increasing tolls to provide an additional PERK/Salary fund. Any increases are limited to the amount necessary to keep up with costs and meet its obligations to PAY for their favourite projects.
Why are rates on the Golden Ears Bridge and Port Mann Bridge Different?
The Golden Ears Bridge Like the Port Mann Bridge is owned by the Taxpayers of British Columbia and by Canadians as a whole; but administrated and operated by TransLink. Translink  like our Government politicians; figure they are above the law; and so set its own toll rates.
per crossing
Cars, pick-up trucks, and SUVs
A motor vehicle less than 6 metres in length and 2.3 metres or less in height.

Additional Fees
As a Port Mann Bridge driver you may incur additional fees for disputing a toll, failing to pay or having insufficient funds in your bank account.
Interest on Overdue Tolls & Fees(calculated and compounded monthly)19% annual rate.
Licence Plate Processing Fee $2.30 per trip
Dispute Arbitration Fee $30.00
Failed Payment / Non-Sufficient Fund Cheque Fee $20.00

Refuse to Issue Processing Fee   $20.00

Of course, all of these changes, all of these fees, are representative of the ever continuing,  illegal, and therefore CRIMINAL activities, carried out on a daily basis, by or Canadian governments as a whole and by Translink/Treo here in British Columbia.~~Ãl (Alex-Alexander) D. Girvan.
