From trade, to energy, to the environment, to security, to culture, Prime Ad-Minist-trader Stephen Harper will have no shortage of bull shit topics to discuss with visiting Narendra Modi over the next three days.

Harper will also have an unspoken domestic political dividend –hopefully-to him-boosting his party's standing with Canada's 1.2 million INDIANS as an October federal election looms.

After a formal meeting Wednesday, Harper will accompany the Rock Star Charismatic Modi to Toronto and Vancouver and will have no less than 16 fellow Conservatives- from cabinet ministers to MPs.-appearing with them at various events. How many million do you suppose that is costing taxpayers?

Bank of Canada report says the economic “growth rate” was at zero for the first quarter, but, it is expected to pick up later this year. Bank leaves interest rate unchanged at 0.75% after economic 'wobble' to start 2015.

The central bank says the economic strife caused by oil prices is proving to be more "front-loaded" than predicted, but not larger. It anticipates non-energy exports will start to improve and investments will increase around mid-2015. By the end of 2016, the bank estimates the economy will have reached full capacity.

Pure fantasy. Some say that optimistic view borders on implausible, however. The bank's reasoning expressed "confidence that the January cut was enough and that the economy … will rebound strongly in the secondeconomy … will rebound strongly in the second quarter and never look back thereafter

Ekk-a-con-on-me-in a-mist-s use many different methods to measure how fast the economy is growing. The most common way to measure the economy is real gross domestic product-the total value of everything - goods and services - produced in our economy. The word "real" means-or should mean- that the total has been adjusted to remove the effects of inflation and a worthless Canadian dollar.

While all Canadian Governments??? (civil servants that hardworking citizen/taxpayers have given the job responsibility of ad-minisrer-ating  public monies and resources)  have always been very good at shouting their real and more often alleged wins, they are by far the masters of spin, and smoking mirrors; who smoothly deflect their failures into thin air. Canadians, all, must not be fooled by cheeky smiles, glib responses and a well-oiled, big money campaign. Let the facts speak for themselves

Canadians-hardworking citizen/taxpayers all got hosed in Port Coquitlam land sale to Liberal donor, in a Crown land sale that was snapped up by a Liberal donor at $43 million below the appraised value. Wesbild Holdings Ltd., founded by businessman Hassan Khosrowshahi, paid $85 million for 14 pieces of property in the Burke Mountain area of Port Coquitlam, just east of Vancouver.

Documents obtained- by the Opposition New Democrats-paint the picture of a government so the money could be used to prop up its pre-election “balanced budget” promises.

The whole area, as everybody in the Canada knows, is going for housing. So, why on earth would ad- minister-a-tors give land away that should be getting you-citizen/taxpayers top dollar? The government’s own sales figures show some of the 14 parcels were liquidated at far below the assessed value, including a 6.5-hectare lot appraised at $5.6 million that sold for $100,000.

 The government ended the year with a higher-than-expected surplus of $353 million, buoyed in large part by $433 million in “surplus” land sales like Burke Mountain.
