Whether actually a “Terrorist Attack” as perceived by
the government of the United States of the Americas; or simply an elaborate
marketing scheme, perpetrated by Sony marketing-It Does Not
Really Matter;
on Tuesday, a threat of terrorism against theatres that show “The Interview”
was made in rambling emails sent to various news outlets. The threat read in
part, “Remember the 11th of September 2001.” The emails aimed the threat at
“the very times and places” at which “The Interview” was to play in its early
showings.
Sony
Pictures Entertainment on Wednesday dropped plans for its Christmas Day release
of “The Interview,” a movie that depicts the assassination of the North Korean
leader Kim Jong-un, after apparently receiving a terror
threat against theatres.
Before
that, the four largest theatre chains in the United States said they would not
show the movie, which has apparently
been at
the centre of a devastating hacking attack, over the last several weeks, on Sony.
The
Sony Corporation, in a statement, said, “We respect, and understand, our
partners’ decision, and, of course, completely, share their paramount interest
in the safety of employees and theatre goers.”
American
intelligence officials on Wednesday somehow concluded that the North Korean
government (a So Called, by the United States of the Americas COMMUNIST-therefore
of course extremely dangerous)was centrally involved- with the attacks on
Sony’s computers.
That
determination and the cancellation of the film were new twists in a series of
developments that has found a major studio fighting for its art, and Perhaps Life (according to the
government of the united States of the Americas CHOSEN view point), against forces driven by a foreign government
(again according to the United States of the Americas unproven and so far
Unsupported viewpoint.
A
message again allegedly,
possibly, well really, at least, supposedly, from the Guardians of Peace group posted
online Tuesday warned of a possible 9/11-like attack on
movie theatres that screen the Sony Pictures Entertainment film.
Once
the hackers threatened physical violence—
whoever, or whatever they or it, turns
out to be — allegedly---made the threat totally changes the nature of the
event, said security expert Philip Lieberman, president of Lieberman Software
Corporation. Up to now it was about money, revenge, etc. With this posting, the
U.S. government has an excuse; and can now get involved in a major way, he
said.
The threat of physical
violence against theatres also triggers mutual cooperation with other
governments (possibly by United States of the Americas controlled United
Nations intervention ?). Frankly, I am surprised that the attackers pulled the
trigger on what is a well-known draconian response scenario that pits them now
against government
assets???, Lieberman said.
The
film’s collapse stirred considerable animosity among Hollywood companies and
players. Theatre owners were angry that they had been boxed into leading the
pullback. Executives at competing studios privately complained that Sony should
have acted sooner or avoided making the film altogether. To depict the killing
of a sitting world leader, comically or otherwise, is virtually without
precedent in major studio movies, film historians say.
Everyone is now clambering to see the
movie.
