RACIAL DISCRIMINATION IN CANADA— TO TRY TO MAKE IT STOP; IS, MY RESPONSIBILITY.

Except That They are Racist, Too the Extreme,
The Terms Aboriginal, Black, Caucasian, First Nations, metis, Métis, Negro, Red, Registered, Status, Tribal, White, Yellow, Indian,
Have Very,Very, Little True, or Revalent; Visible Minority Meaning in Canada;
But by Using, and Promoting; Such Prejudicially Racial Terms,
The Canadian Government is  Violating The Bill of Rights,
The Canadian Constitution and The Whole Concept of Democracy.
Racial Assimilation Remains as it Always Has Been--Throughout All of Human History--Since the Beginning of Time-- a Necessary Part of Human Life.
Human is Human.
People and People.

Ther must be:
 NO Special DISCRIMINATION.
No special PRIVLEDGES.
No special RIGHTS.
Everyone treated EXACTLY the SAME
Canadian is Canadian--PURE, AND SIMPLE.

The five above photos were all taken and published well before 1923; so, very obviously,
they CAN NOT BE SUBJECT TO COPY RIGHT
are not, IN TRUTH,

 of ANY ARCHIVE, ANYONE;
 and are,
 IN TRUTH,

Although I can do my part to make the discrimination stop, it is not my responsibility alone. In so trying, I put myself at some risk but, I AM CANADIAN.
It is high time that Canada gets rid of all the buffalo crap and sends it back from whence it came. We do not have buffalo in North America; we have bison, a much more agile, larger, stronger, more versatile animal and WE HAVE CANADIANS.
We do not have: African, East Asian, Chinese, European, English, French, Irish, Scottish, Polka-dot Canadians; WE HAVE CANADIANS.
Much of the racism and racial discrimination in Canada, North America, the entire world; is CREATED AND OR PROMOTED BY VARIOUS  GOVERNMENTS; ESPECIALLY THAT OF THE UNITED STATES OF NORTH AMERICA (AN AREA AND/OR UNION THAT HAS NEVER REALLY BECOME ONE COUNTRY). Much of it dates back to slavery-- and not just the slavery practiced  by Europeans; but, by most aboriginal and indigenous peoples as well—when one drop of mixed blood could; and usually did, condemn an individual to a life of slavery.
We must also remember that:

  • CANADA had officially recognized slavery(Haida Nation); long after the United States of the Americas had officially ended theirs.
  • Persons of mixed African, Asian, European and Aboriginal/Indigenous North American blood lines are NOT First Nations, Aboriginal or any other name intended to indicate an Indigenous people

—they ARE-- a hybrid
--mongrel mix,
that did not exist; and could not possibly have existed in the Americas until, at the very least, NINE MONTHS (being very generous) after the first Europeans arrived.
Any of the people who now pretend to be "First Nations " or "Métis"  could not exist as any of their fore-fathers (aboriginal or European) once did—but that does not matter; for that way of life, as I will show later, is no longer possible; but, they are CANADIANS.
If, as they have shown, the Canadian Government now wishes to classify the Métis peoples as "Aboriginal"or Indigenous peoples: then they must classify all Canadians of European heritage as "Aboriginal" they were here FIRST and THEY ARE CANADIAN.
The Hudson's Bay Company was incorporated by the English in 1670 as The Governor and Company of Adventures of England trading in to Hudson's bay; so obviously it was a BRITISH not FRENCH Company to which Rupert's Land was given. The Métis and, at that time, métis came into Rupert's land later in our country's history but they have no claim  whatever on it--only that-- THEY ARE CANADIAN.
We, in Canada have several organizations, besides our government, that were established in an effort to combat racism.
To name some:
·         The National Anti-Racism Council of Canada, established in 2002, is a Canadian coalition of community based organizations and individuals who initially came together to ensure a strong community input into both the development of Canada’s contributions to the United Nation’s World Conference Against Racism and Racial Discrimination, and to the needed local community capacity building and commitment following this global gathering.
·         The “Black” Coalitions of Canada established in 1969 in defence of human rights.
·         The Black Coalition of Quebec takes its origin from the “Black Coalition of Canada and is one of the principal speakers-- in that province—of the “Black” community in defence of individual rights; however, it quite possibly has done more to divide Canada than it has done “good”.
·         Founded in 1979, the “Chinese” Canadian National Council is an organization of “Chinese” Canadians that promotes equality, social justice, inclusive civic participation, and respect for diversity. The council aims to activate new members across Canada to work alongside existing groups in the “Chinese community and other RACIAL groups, to establish an effective national network of communication. The proposed aim of the group is to promote the rights of all individual, but, in particular, those of “Chinese Canadians, and to encourage their full, and equal participation in “Canadian” society. The CCNC further encourages, and develops, in persons of Chinese decent, the desire to know and respect their historical and cultural heritage—to educate them in adopting a creative and positive attitude towards the “Chinese” Canadian contribution to Canadian society.
·         THE KA NI KANICHIHK—UNITED AGAINST RACISM Ka Ni Kanichihk means “those who lead” in the Cree language. Ka Ni Kanichihk is a registered non-profit,   community based “aboriginal” human services organization, governed by council that is inclusive of First Nations and Metis (metis is no longer commonly used but they are the non-French, not recognized as First Nations, peoples of mixed European and indigenous native blood lines—metis would include anyone who is part African, Asian, European, Chinese, Japanese, etch,--anything but French) in Winnipeg. The organization is currently delivering a number of programs and initiatives, one of which is United Against Racism.
·         United against Racism works towards the elimination of racism and discrimination in society. This unique??? initiative is community based and “Aboriginal” led. “Aboriginal youth also play a vital role in the development of anti-racism tools and resources, and the transmission of anti-racist values and methodologies through education.
They do not work—any of them. The problem is that none of these coalitions, councils, groups, initiatives, organizations, self-governments, unions, serve to do anything to reduce discrimination or racism—in fact—they only serve to make it worse, because they are themselves discriminatory and racist. This type of racism has led to poverty, unemployment, alcohol/other drug abuse, and domestic violence within communities identified as being Aboriginal or First Nations.
These organizations are all also guilty of another serious problem that exists-- not only in Canada-- but in All of North America-- and that is “Racial Profiling”.
Racial or colour profiling refers to that phenomenon whereby certain criminal activity is attributed to an identified group in society on the basis of race, religion, or colour resulting in the targeting of individual members of that group. In context, race or religion is illegitimately used as a proxy for the criminality, or general criminal/terrorist propensity of an entire racial group.
Proof that the existing councils, methods, organizations, self-governments, and way of thinking have not, do not, and will not work may be observed in the following examples.
1.       The threat of criminal suspicion or sanction for engaging in activities most self-identifying Canadian CANADIANS take for granted, such as attending religious services, giving charity, or engaging in community activism, has left members of the Muslim Canadian community feeling that they are being targeted for discriminatory treatment by the police and by the government.
2.       Increased state targeting of Muslim places of worship, charities and community organizations, combined with public suspicion of Muslim/Islamic culture and religious institutions, has a chilling effect on individual and collective expressions of religion and cultural heritage.
3.       In the 1800s Canada wanted Chinese labourers, do the blasting, dig the tunnels, and work to build the railroads across the country, but, after completion of the railroad it enacted a racist “head tax” to limit immigration by the Chinese.
4.       The hardship experienced by CANADIANS with Chinese blood/heritage increased in 1923 with the implementation of the Chinese Exclusion Act, which was aimed at barring immigration of any Chinese person to Canada. The Exclusion Act meant that many Chinese (none of us were legally Canadian at the time)  fathers that were in Canada—brought here to help build the country—were separated from their families in China for decades, until the Act was repealed in 1947.
5.       Racial profiling is evident in all spheres of social relations—world wide—for instance, access to education, employment, as well as health, financial and consumer services. “Essentially, once people are targeted or target themselves for “special treatment solely on the basis of race, then this treatment also extends into all aspects of a person’s life.
6.       The practice of racial profiling is often manifested in the traffic stops and searches targeting persons identified as “African Canadians”. However, the target group has expanded to include people identified as being Muslims, Islamic, South Asians, and Arab Canadians.
7.       The history between peoples identified or self-identifying as Aboriginal peoples and the Canadian state is admittedly long and troubled. Those identified or self-identifying as Aboriginal or First Nations have, undoubtedly, suffered repeated trauma at the hands of those identified or self-identifying as “Anglo-Canadian”. Settlers, who like all “Imperialists” worldwide, stole native lands, destroyed their cultures and drove them into virtual extinction.
8.       In 1988, the government of Manitoba, which has the highest proportion of peoples identified as “Aboriginal” peoples in its jurisdiction, established the Aboriginal Justice Inquiry to review the administration of justice for “Aboriginal Peoples??? why should this be necessary? Are we not all Canadian in the eyes of the government?
9.       Some particular problems addressed include the facts that many peoples identified as being “Aboriginal in jail were denied bail, lawyers spend less time with their “Aboriginal or “First Nation” clients, and jail time is often awarded by the police?? As the punishment of choice over fines.
10.   In 1992-1993 “Aboriginal” or “First Nations” represented 11.9% of the male and 16.7% of the female population in jails. Statistics further show that the federal offender population in 1997, including those released into the community, numbered about 23,200 of the total number of federal offenders 12% (approximately 2,900) were “Aboriginal offenders. Yet “Aboriginal” peoples comprise less than 2% of The Canadian population (except in Quebec where it is now claimed that over 50% of the populous now has “First Nations” linage) possibly because Mandarin has taken over as Canada’s second most commonly spoken language.
11.   The troubled relationship between “African” Canadians and the criminal justice system, and the police in particular, must be understood in the socio-historical context of enslavement, segregation, exclusion, and legally sanctioned discrimination. Canada is becoming more and more “Americanized”.  And the United States of the Americas—as history has long shown—and world events continue to prove-- is the most racially prejudiced country in the world. We can do much better, after all--WE ARE ALL CANADIANS
One such racial group, (NARCC), is quoted “Racialized groups within Canada are victims of structural and systemic racial inequality, I n a country that prides itself as a protector of human rights, and promoter of equality. However visible violations of their enjoyment to economic, social rights, and cultural rights are not acknowledged”.
We live in a "modern" civilization; consequently, in order to fully and truly combat all of these issues, assimilation becomes a necessary evil and a part of our lives and our society. We must all become truly Canadian—nothing more—but definitely nothing less. Then and only then will we CANADIANS have a CANADA that WE ALL can be truly proud of, because it is the world leader and still “THE BEST PLACE ON EARTH” in which to live.
