The flag of Wales (Welsh: Baner Cymru or Y Ddraig Goch, meaning the red dragon) consists of a reddragon passant on a green and white field.

I have no problem with Canada having it's own flag, after all,
this is our country and all sovereign countries should have their own flag--
it gives something to hold on to--
that is, it gives us something to hang onto if that flag reflects the
CULTURE, HISTORY, AND TRADITION of that country.
The present flag does not. I believe that one of the greatest travesties to occur
in Canadian history was when we dropped the colour blue from the flag. In 1921, not very long after World War 1, July 28 1914-November 11 1918 [Remembrance Day].
   
It was King George V who (forgetting all about The Battle of the Plains of Abraham and the later formation of the English, Dominion of Canada) proclaimed the official colours of Canada as red, from Saint George's Cross, and white, from the French royal emblem. At the time, it did not seem to bother him, in the least, that most Canadians rejected this proclamation. As he was soon to discover, it very much should have

I truly like this flag design, as it truly represents the history of Canada,it's three main cultures, and at least modern history.

As for the bottom one; personally, I think the blue (sea to sea) bars are in the wrong location; otherwise it could be a good choice
